A Pilot Experience

Mountain Air Pilots Association is a group of pilots that connect to promote aviation safety and enjoy camaraderie.  We meet regularly to discuss and explore flying in and out of Mountain Air, general flying and safety topics, and provide a forum to exchange information and provide feedback to the Mountain Air Property Owners Associations’ Aviation Committee on airfield operations.  We also have social events and host charitable events in cooperation with the Mountain Air Community Fund.

In addition to being a tremendous resource and attraction to the residents, our airport also provides year-round access for Mission Health’s Air Ambulance service to reach critical care patients in the area.

A number of the pilots also participate in Angel Flight, an organization that flies patients to get health care, and flies donor organs to places where they are needed.
